As esculturas de Juca Máximo nascem da mesma força criativa que sustenta suas séries pictóricas — como Absence, Connection, Gravity e Portrait Colors, reconhecidas em mais de 20 países. São bustos e instalações viscerais, expressivos, que transbordam identidade e memória. Cada peça é única, marcada por gestos, cortes, pigmentos, aplicações de vidro, objetos fundidos ao corpo escultórico, resinas que escorrem como sentimentos ou feridas que não se escondem.
Essa multiplicidade de formas é sustentada por sua competência em dialogar com uma ampla diversidade de materiais: ferro, Corian, madeira, vidro, pedra e compósitos sintéticos. Juca Máximo’s sculptures are born from the same creative force that drives his pictorial series — such as Absence, Connection, Gravity, and Portrait Colors, recognized in over 20 countries. These are visceral, expressive busts and installations that overflow with identity and memory. Each piece is unique, marked by gestures, cuts, pigments, glass applications, objects fused into the sculptural body, and resins that flow like emotions or wounds that refuse to hide.
This multiplicity of forms is supported by his ability to engage with a wide range of materials: iron, Corian, wood, glass, stone, and synthetic composites. His technical and experimental mastery of these elements enables the creation of hybrid works, where painting, sculpture, and installation merge into a single language.
