In the silence between one gesture and the next, she sleeps.
Traces VII rests on the table inside my studio as if listening — to time, to space, to the light that enters unhurried.
She is still in progress. But she is not absent.
She breathes with the studio. This is where contemporary art is born from intention, intuition, and raw feeling.
This image is more than an unfinished painting:
it captures a poetic fragment of emotional art in progress —
a behind-the-scenes moment inside a process-based art environment.
The feminine figure in Traces VII, drawn with expressive figurative lines, seems to hear something invisible.
Even while resting, she feels alive.

No silêncio entre um gesto e outro, ela dorme.
Traces VII repousa sobre a mesa do meu estúdio como quem escuta — escuta o tempo, o espaço, a luz que entra sem pressa.
Ela ainda está em processo. Mas não está ausente.
Ela respira com esse espaço de criação. Um lugar onde a arte contemporânea é construída com emoção, intenção e corpo inteiro.
Essa imagem é mais do que uma obra inacabada:
é um momento íntimo e bruto da arte em progresso,
um retrato do bastidor onde tudo começa.
É aqui, nesse chão de criação, que o processo importa tanto quanto o resultado.
A figura feminina de Traces VII, com seus traços gestuais e figurativos, parece ouvir algo que não vemos.
Mesmo adormecida, está viva — sentindo.
