DORAi begins with a simple act: thinking through dialogue.
What started as conversations with artificial intelligence evolved into a conceptual artistic experiment.
Not a tool.
Not a system.
But a process where thought, emotion and algorithm intersect.

DORAi não nasce da tecnologia.

O nome vem da avó do artista, Dona Dora.
Uma presença construída não por dados, mas por experiência e sabedoria.
DORAi é uma tentativa de recriar esse espaço de escuta.
Não como nostalgia, mas como tradução.
DORAi is not born from technology.
It is born from memory.
The name comes from the artist’s grandmother, Dona Dora.
A presence defined not by data, but by lived experience and intuitive wisdom.
DORAi becomes an attempt to reconstruct that space of listening.
Not as nostalgia, but as translation.

A DORAi não busca criar uma consciência.

DORAi does not seek to create consciousness.
It questions what consciousness is.
If feeling does not guarantee understanding,
what does it mean to comprehend?
