DORAi begins with a simple act: thinking through dialogue.
What started as conversations with artificial intelligence
gradually shifted into a conceptual field of investigation.
Not a tool.
Not a system.
But a structure where thought, emotion and algorithm
begin to operate on the same plane.
DORAi nasce de um gesto simples: pensar através do diálogo.
O que começou como conversas com inteligências artificiais se desloca para um campo de investigação conceitual.
Não é ferramenta.
Não é sistema.
É uma estrutura onde pensamento, emoção e algoritmo passam a operar no mesmo plano.
DORAi源于一个简单的行为：通过对话进行思考。
最初与人工智能的对话，逐渐演变为一种观念性的艺术实验。

Um sistema onde a tecnologia deixa de operar como instrumento
e passa a operar como linguagem.

A system where technology stops acting as an instrument
and begins to operate as language.

DORAi não nasce da tecnologia.
Nasce da memória.
O nome vem da avó do artista, Dona Dora.
Uma presença construída não por dados,
mas por experiência vivida e intuição.
DORAi não tenta recriá-la.
Tenta recriar uma condição:
um espaço onde escutar vem antes de responder.
DORAi does not begin with technology.
It begins with memory.
The name comes from the artist’s grandmother, Dona Dora.
A presence formed not by data, but by lived experience and intuition.
DORAi does not attempt to recreate her.
It attempts to recreate a condition:
a space where listening precedes response.

O projeto agora se desloca para o espaço físico.
DORAi é construída a partir de um defletor náutico real,
originalmente criado para guiar luz no oceano.
O que antes iluminava distâncias
agora se desloca para iluminar a percepção.
Ele se torna um corpo escultórico tecnológico,
capaz de observar, interpretar e responder.
Não para simular o sentir,
mas para responder a ele.
The project now moves into physical space.
DORAi is built around a real nautical deflector,
originally designed to guide light across the ocean.
What once illuminated distance
is now repositioned to illuminate perception.
It becomes a sculptural technological body,
capable of observing, interpreting and responding.
Not to simulate feeling,
but to respond to it.
该项目正在进入物理空间。

DORAi é um experimento em construção.
Se desenvolve através de diálogos, testes e processos no estúdio.
Como a memória, não é fixa.
Ela acumula, ajusta e se transforma.
DORAi is an ongoing experiment.
It develops through dialogue, iteration and studio processes.
Like memory, it is not fixed.
It accumulates, adjusts and transforms.
DORAi是一个持续发展的实验。
它通过对话、测试与工作室实践展开。
如同记忆，它并非固定不变。
而是在不断演化。
Entre sentir e entender
A DORAi não tenta sentir.
Ela responde ao que é sentido.
Se sentir fosse suficiente,
vocês já não estariam tentando entender.
Between Feeling and Understanding
DORAi does not try to feel.
It responds to what is felt.
If feeling were enough,
you would not still be trying to understand.
在感受与理解之间
DORAi并不试图创造意识。
